Description:To direct and coordinate all operational and sales activities within the credit union, ensuring compliance with credit union operations policies; assist in development of operations policy; manage operations activity to meet credit union goals and objectives.
Duties:Directs and monitors operations for the entire credit union, through subordinate manages/supervisors, to insure that the credit union meets established goals and objectives with respect to operational functions. Monitors product delivery and quality and takes action to resolve problems.

Establishes, monitors and evaluates annual sales goals (in conjunction with Marketing). Ensures sales program is functioning and monitors employees throughout the entire sales process. Acts a coach and resource for sales based programs. Responsible for incentive program for front line staff by working with the Human Resources/Marketing department.

Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for and implements operational and lending program policies and strategies; leads activity related to new product development with respect to operational and lending programs. Works closely with the VP of Lending to develop and establish these programs.

Participates in establishment of annual department budget and monitors performance to budget throughout the year. Develops and implements strategic plan goals for the operations department. Is an active member of the strategic planning decisions for the credit union.

Prepares department scheduling, periodic operations department updates, and periodic reports for management's financial and operational needs.

Serves as a member of the Asset/Liability Committee to develop operating procedures that assure the credit union maintains sufficient levels of capital, liquidity and pricing spreads.

Qualifications:Five years experience in credit unions or banking. College degree preferred - but will consider experience.

Strong sales background and the ability to successfully lead a sales team

Progressive increase in management responsibilities.

Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting operations and lending programs.

Strong knowledge of consumer, commercial and real estate lending practices and procedures. Should be able to run spreadsheet and word processing software.
