Description:White Crown FCU is seeking a full time Financial Service Specialist to join our team. The winning candidate must be skilled at building & strengthening relationships, creating member loyalty while anticipating & exceeding members financial needs through active promotion, sales & delivery of our products & services. The winning candidate will assist members with their consumer real estate lending needs, analyze loan requests & make credit decisions based upon lending policy. The position requires someone who is dependable, self directed, has great communication skills, & enjoys working with members and coworkers. This position requires the employee to rotate between our DTC branch at Jeppesen and our Downtown branch. Come join our team. Duties:Actively cross sells credit union products and services daily to meet monthly sales goals established by White Crown. Develop & discover sales opportunities by developing action plans and schedules to follow-up on new leads and referrals, preparing presentations and proposals to prospective and current members. Facilitates the lending process with members, to include documentation, interviewing, underwriting and closing. Maintains confidential member account information. Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, money orders, cash & credit card advances. Balance daily transactions & verifies cash drawer. Provides information to members regarding credit union products & services, including but not limited to: eligibility for membership, types of available deposit/loan accounts, interest & dividend rates, direct deposit options, & other related services & information. Identifies transactions/situations to which BSA documentation has to be completed & submitted as well as other compliance related areas. Represents the credit union in a friendly, courteous, knowledgable and professional manner.
Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Consumer Lending and sales experience is required for this position.
