Description:This position is located at our Dobson & Elliot Branch in Chandler, AZ

Hours: M-F: 8:30 to 5:30 and rotating Saturdays 8:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Individual is responsible for providing leadership up to and including serving as acting Manager in the Manager's absence. Individual will assist in supervising and coordinating the activities of the branch and revewing the work of assigned staff. This includes either directly or with the branch manager, hiring, training, and evaluating the performance of all employees. This position is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in the braches risk management, business development, and client relationships. Individual must present a professional image at all times as well as have the ability to maintain a flexible schedule. This position is responsible for fostering a strong sales and service culture as well as n empowereed work environment that allos employees to provide spontaneous service excellence to members, employees and business associates; demonstrating the values shown on the TruWest Vision, Mission, Values card.
Duties:Knowledge and Skills:
The position requires assisting with the activities of a high volume environment and/or multiple branch locations, and large work groups (five or more employees). Additionally, individual must have demonstrated leadership skills in the area of staff development and motivation, coaching sales performance, and business development. Individual must be capable for functioning in all operational credit union policies and procedures. Requires advanced knowledge of somputer software applications, including, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independentally as well as within a team environment. Individual must also have strong decision making and analytical skills, the ability to think more strategically with operational goals, and the ability to maintain the integrity of confidentia information.

The ability to perform math calculations with a high degree of accuracy, and have good knowledge of negotiable instrument elements. Must have basic PC skills and experience with office equipment such as 10-key calculator, PC keyboard, copy and fax machines. Individual must have good verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of products, services and account requirements associated with financial industry services preferred. Must project a professional image.
Qualifications:Education:
Requires eduction associated with high school diploma, two year Associates Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience:
This job requires a minimum of three to five years of credit union (or similar financial institution) experience in a Supervisory role.
