Member Service Rep

Banner Federal Credit Union is seeking a positive, ambitious individual to join our team! Our MSR'S are responsible for outstanding member service such as, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, cash and credit card transactions. Ensuring that members needs are promptly and professionally served. You will be responsible for a variety of other task that include filing, answering the telephone and opening new accounts. Teller/ MSR- Banner Federal Credit Union HOURS: Monday Friday 7:30 am to 4:45 pm. No nights, no week-ends, no holidays. Responsible for providing a variety of paying ,receiving, and support functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, and cash advances. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, IRAs, and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems. Answers members questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Performs specific assigned side jobs including various clerical and receptionist functions, and assists other Member Service Representatives with duties as required. Serves members promptly and professionally. Helps scanning and with records retention.

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate office machinery including fax, phones, 10-key, computer skills, and general knowledge of financial industry. Good written and oral communication skills and a friendly and outgoing personality required. Must be able to work quickly, independently, multi task and learn quick. Honest, trustworthy. Cash handling skills required and previous credit union or banking experience a plus. Must be able to pass background-credit check- and authorized to work in the US.
