|Description:||This position is located at our Howard Lane Branch in North Austin, TX|
It is full time at 40 hrs./week. Hours are from: M-F 9:00 to 5:30 plus Rotating Saturdays 9:30 to 2:30.
This position is responsible for assisting the membership with TruWest product, service and account information. Also responsible for the branch opening and closing duties, teller duties, opening new accounts and deposit products, and loan processing, verifying information on deposit applications, approving/disapproving applications for service while assuring compliance with credit union policy and procedures.
This position requires monitoring the daily activity, compiling and providing statistical reports at month end or as needed. Individual must also investigate and handle error resolution, maintain and balance a cash drawer as well as the daily balancing of all negotiable instruments and ATMís.
Individual must present a professional image at all times as well as have the ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
|Duties:||Knowledge and Skills:|
Individual must have displayed good sales and referral abilities. Requires cross-selling experience with cross-selling opportunities, which will benefit the member.
Must have the ability to perform math calculations with a high degree of accuracy, good attention to detail, and good knowledge of negotiable instrument elements and have intermediate to advanced knowledge of PC skills (including navigating within appropriate Web sites) and experience with office equipment such as 10-key calculator, PC keyboard, copy and fax machines.
Individual must also possess good verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision and complete tasks in a timely manner and always project a professional image.
Requires education associated with high school diploma. Passing of Certifications A Ė D of the TruAchievement Branch Program (if participating in this program), and some college in a related field is preferred.
This job requires a minimum of one year Teller II or similar related experience.
