Description:Mortgage Sales Manager/Supervisor Role:

As a member of the Mortgage Leadership team reporting directly to the VP of Mortgage, the Mortgage Sales Manager/ Supervisor leads, coordinates and directs the daily management of residential mortgage originators. This fast paced leadership position is responsible for establishing and monitoring goals to achieve production objectives, training, recruit top originators, train mortgage loan originators, as well as recommends and/or makes decisions in personnel-related matters. Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results and SAFE registration.

Major Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Coaching team members to their fullest potential, while adhering to Elevations Credit Union’s reinforcing accountability.
• Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility in the marketplace, along with developing relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other business referral sources.
• Assist orginators in developing marketing and sales strategies for new and existing business.
• Continuing knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements.
• Be proficient in understanding real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions.
• Availability to assist members and team on evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrate leadership characteristics, organizational skills and experience working in a fast paced extremely productive automated origination environment.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed and required.
• Maintaining and supporting Elevations strong values/culture.
• Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union.
• Lead by example to an extremely high producing team.

- Five+ years of sales management specific to the mortgage profession.
- Demonstrated ability to direct the work of mortgage loan officers, including setting and monitoring of goals, implementing policies and procedures.
- Prior management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively train and develop employees.
- Knowledge of industry products, policies and procedures, underwriting requirements, conventional and governmental loan requirements, operations, and compliance regulations.
- Informed on market and competitor developments
