Description:Role: Prepares loan documents for closing, order wires, balance HUD's, prepares loans for post closing, audits files to ensure all documents have been signed correctly. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Duties:Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Acts as primary contact for all closing questions on mortgage loans.
Completes a minimum of 10 loan documents per day as volume warrants. Loan documents must be completed within 24 hours of loan being logged into closing.
Completes a minimum of 10 funding numbers daily per day as volume warrants.
Understands and communicates key features and benefits of Elevations products and services.
Reviews all HUD's for accuracy and provides releases to title company. All reviews must be completed same day as receipt of the HUD.
Qualifications:Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: minimum 2 years 1st mortgage closing experience in conventional, FHA and VA
Education: Equivalent to a high school education. Some college preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves a great deal of contact with others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.
Other Skills: strong sense of personal accountablility, proven ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge, ability to interact with others in a positive manner, ability to accurately and efficiently enter data and update member records via computer terminal.
