Position Summary -

Front Desk Duties: Oversees the lobby to ensure members are being served promptly. Assists members and potential members with their credit union needs. Explains services, answers questions, and directs members to the appropriate people.
•Greets and directs all members entering the branch. Signs in and directs members to appropriate service representative.
•Provides exceptional service to members.
•Takes accurate messages and directs calls in a timely fashion.
•Keeps the front desk area organized.
•Maintains lobby area brochures and literature.
•Maintains marketing signage in lobby area.

Teller Duties: Provides world class service and actively participates as a member of the branch consultative sales and service team by providing financial solutions for a better life.
•Engages with members to explore their situations and needs.
•Performs teller transactions to include, but not limited to, processing account deposits, withdrawals, and payments promptly and accurately.
•Anticipates the needs of the member and provides advice based on the clear understanding of the members’ financial situation.
•Persuades members to buy value-added solutions to meet their needs.
•Resolves members’ problems and concerns.
•Seeks opportunities to enhance knowledge of Elevations products and services as well as member needs.
•Seeks opportunities to build member relations including event participation.
•Gains the trust of members by being honest, keeping commitments, sharing information, and treating them with respect.
•Conveys information to members in a clear, compelling way that will positively affect their thoughts and actions.
•Has the focus, persistence, positive outlook, and discipline to meet the personal demands of a sales/service role.
•Sets high standards of performance, quality, and accountability for oneself.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
•Possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to handle complex transactions
•Minimum one year financial institution experience.
