IT Resource Manager

Position Summary: Supports managers in a learning organization that values process improvement and iterative methods. Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders to set expectations and deliver timely, excellent solutions. General understanding of the theory and practice of project management with an emphasis on resource management. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
•Internal subject matter expert on IT project management; supports managers and team members through general administration and coordination of efforts that benefit Elevations through successful project execution. Performs work according to established procedures; contributes to improve IT business process management (BPM) process maps, flow charts, procedures, forms, job aids, etc.
•Works internally and externally to ensure service management through cases or tickets and supplier processes.
•Provides superior customer service while managing relationships with end users, business leaders, and others to ensure service delivery exceeds expectations.
•Proactively makes recommendations for improvement of processes, IT project management, and Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
•Utilizes sound systems development lifecycle practices, adheres to established processes, and documents resource management for IT projects (including business analysis, design, testing, implementation, support, and decommissioning).
•Supervision – Works self-directed with moderate supervision within standard operating procedures.
•Project Management – Able to support project planning and execution within required timelines and expectations; skilled in the use of project management tools and in the process of managing and coordinating resources across multiple projects.
•Relationship Management – Excellent communication, influence, and relationship management skills required.
•Regulatory Requirements – Knowledge of and compliance with Financial Institution regulatory requirements.
Education Requirements: 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience; B.S., Computer Science (or similar) preferred.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
•2 or more years of experience with project management and resource management. Demonstrated coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
•A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Scope of work will include access to sensitive data and financial perspectives requiring extreme confidentiality.
•Able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and follow through to complete assigned work in a dynamic environment; highly organized.
•Excellent decision-making skills.
•Able to maintain positive, enthusiastic, and productive cross-functional working relationships within an environment of demands that exceed resource supply; able to establish and grow positive working relationships with team members at all organizational levels.
•Prefer experience in customer serving role(s).
•Prefer fundamental understanding of and experience with at least 2 of the following functional areas or applications: Retail Operations, Lending Operations, Financial Backoffice Operations, Jack Henry technologies (specifically Episys), Synapsys, Synergy, Image Teller Capture, MeridianLink OpeningAct, MeridianLink LoansPQ, PCLender, ProfitStars, Raddon MCIF.
•Prefer 2 or more years of experience supporting IT business applications projects within a financial institution.
