| Duties: | Process loan request by obtaining credit report, appraisal and any other documentation necessary to support and ensure complete documentation of the loan file in compliance with Secondary Market Investor Guidelines and Credit Union guidelines.
Interview, counsel members for all real estate secured loans. Pre-qualify member for compliance with Credit Union and/or Investor guidelines, qualifying ratios, employment history and source of sufficient funds to close the loan. Establish terms and conditions of an approved loan and review with member. Discuss reasons for loan denial and mail out Adverse Action Notice.
Coordinate closing with member and closing agent. Review returned, signed documents. Fund loan according to closing settlement. Prepare closed loan for servicing.
Maintain LAR for HMDA reporting on all applicable loan requests. |
| Qualifications: | Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Equivalent to a high school education.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Knowledge of the secondary market and experience with first and second mortgage residential real estate lending. Must be able to type, use PC and general office equipment including 10-key calculator. |
