Description:Denver Fire Department Federal Credit Union (DFDFCU) is looking for that individual that loves helping people. We aim to provide our members products and services that will help them achieve their financial goals. Our only office is located at 12 Lakeside Lane Denver CO 80212. Our business hours are 730A to 530P Monday thru Friday, closed on the weekends.

A DFDFCU Personal Banker is a single stop for our members. Once the Personal Banker has completed the trainings they will be able to assist with a simple balance inquiry or take a real estate loan application and process it thru closing.

Our Personal Bankers set a high standard when it comes to member service. Our members are treated like family from the moment they walk in.
Duties:Our Personal Bankers are responsible for a variety of tasks that include, but are not limited to:
-Helping members virtually, over the phone or in person.
-Financial transactions - deposits, withdrawals, transfers, wires.
-Maintenance requests - address changes, card orders, adding or removing signers or services, online banking, app, website.
-Subject matter experts in all DFDFCU products and services - mobile, website, app's, HSA, IRA, loan products, savings products.
-Lending capabilities- process, underwrite and close all loan products from signature loans to first mortgages.
Qualifications:Experience:
Five years or more of similar or related experience.

Education:
A high school education or GED required. Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Interpersonal Skills:
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

Other Skills:
Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard. An ability to learn and efficiently use a core processing system in addition to the Microsoft suite of software is required.
