Duties:What you will be doing:

Position Summary/Objective: The Business Lending Administrator I is responsible for processing and promoting the MBL products and services.  The Business Lending Administrator I must have a strong understanding of consumer construction RE loan documentation, and MBL loan processing knowledge, and be capable of working independently to ensure that all loan files are compliant with all NCUA regulatory requirements as well as ECU credit policy, and that all loan documents are accurate.

Essential Functions include:

Works closely with Loan officers and 3rd party vendors to process and complete new loan packages including obtaining, compiling and verifying data relevant to the loan, compiling borrower’s supporting documents and all loan requirements.

Follows all consumer compliance regulations including completing and sending TRID disclosures as required.

Prepares, reviews and coordinates loan documents with all appropriate personnel, including interaction with attorneys to validate documents.

On-Boards loans and loan transactions onto the bank’s operating system.

Perfects collateral liens to ensure appropriate lien positions.

Ensures MBL files are maintained in electronic repository and that the files are complete and properly categorized.

Assists in managing the loan portfolio by maintaining tickler reports, requesting updated financial information as needed to insure timely annual reviews, tracking compliance with ECU policies, portfolio renewals, covenant tracking, and ongoing loan requirements such as insurance.

Processes monthly construction draws.

Must be comfortable with engaging with customers in person and over the phone on a regular basis. Assisting in all aspects of the loan processes when needed.

Supports internal and external examinations, project tasks & Business Process Management activities

Reports to:  Business & Commercial Operations Manager

Direct Reports: This role does not have supervisory responsibility
Qualifications:What you need for this position:

Required Education and Experience: 
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
Strong working knowledge with common commercial loan applications.
Proficient with using Microsoft Word and Excel and other various PC applications.
Self-starter with the willingness to learn and take charge of new responsibilities.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
Excellent customer service with superb verbal and written communicational skills.
Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience and knowledge of Symitar-Episys bank operating systems preferred.  
Additional compliance training is desirable
