Description:
Duties:Under general direction of either a Portfolio Manager or VP of EPMO leads and directs multiple high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. May assist Portfolio Manager in coordination of multiple projects. Independently develop the scope and project objectives, as well as define the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Coach and mentor junior team members on the development of project artifacts.

Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes.
Coach and mentor junior team members on how to manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes and facilitates Team Lead acceptance.
Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.

Measure and report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.

Closely monitor project resources, tasks, risks and milestones. Make course corrections when necessary using defined change control procedures.

Conduct ongoing project meetings and working sessions with stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project, complete work throughout the project and continuously review project plan, schedules and gain consensus.

Assist the Business Analyst in capturing and recording customer requirements, constraints, decisions/risk and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using multiple tools including brainstorming, working sessions, or other appropriate tools.

Plan, execute, monitor, track and report large-scale technology projects using traditional and Agile development processes and techniques.

Act as a Scrum Master for multiple, complex Agile teams and mentor and coach team members on Agile principles and methodology.

Lead, Arrange, Facilitate and Coach all Agile ceremonies including, Stand-ups , Reviews, Retrospectives, Grooming, and Sprint & Release planning

Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management using Agile estimating techniques

Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution in order to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement

Responsible for making sure that daily task status and hours are being updated by team on systems such as Jira/AgileCraft to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs.

Facilitate teams in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
