Duties:Summary/Objective:

Elevations Credit Union, a leading Colorado financial institution, is seeking a VP of Communications and Talent Strategy with strong experience in driving organizational change management, effective communication, culture, enrichment, and engagement programs. This individual will partner with executives, corporate communications, and HR to drive adoption and understanding of new initiatives and programs.

This individual will need to understand industry trends in financial services, talent management and product strategy to best influence our organization and ensure effective communication in alignment with ECU’s strategic vision. He or she should enjoy working in a high performance culture, and be flexible, open-minded, with the ability to navigate uncertainty, which are important for success in this role. The role will exercise and develop change management skills, partnering with and supporting the Executive Leadership Team. This individual will be a vital, trusted member of ECU’s People team, an exemplar of cultural alignment and the highest professional standards.

Essential Functions Include:

Internal Communications -

-Create and support an internal communications strategy to foster the culture and keep employees aligned, aware, and engaged
-Identify, pilot, and launch new creative communication tools
-Partner with marketing team to develop an employer brand and associated visual elements
-Drive alignment
-Facilitate discussions to develop and articulate vision and philosophies around key employee life cycle elements like talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, development, and total rewards - ensuring alignment between programs related to these and the existing ECU culture
-Provide insight into the programs related to the employee experience to ensure they are aligned and supportive of their culture
-Help analyze survey results and imagine/develop/prioritize associated action plans

Organizational Development / Culture Development / Strategy -

-Advance culture through developing talent philosophy alignment and deployment into talent practices
-Develop and simplify strategy to drive culture change and alignment with business strategy.
-Provide creative approaches and solutions to share the people strategy.
-Build leadership development strategy to prepare and grow leaders to further the company performance.
-Build career development philosophy and strategy to motivate employees and promote employee engagement and learning.

Innovation -

-Define and deliver employee innovation strategy and provide a roadmap for execution.
-Advance the employee experience and opportunity to collaborate by sharing ideas and innovation suggestions.
-Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that best align with employee innovation strategy.
-Determine innovation rewards and recognition in alignment with Total Rewards philosophy to encourage employee innovation.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:

*Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
*10+ years of experience in talent strategy and organizational communication.
*Past experience driving transformational change, communicating complex enterprise initiatives, and influencing stakeholder alignment and engagement.
*Must have substantial experience with leadership development and best in class talent retention initiatives.
*Ability to work well under pressure.
*Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
*Highly organized, detail oriented, efficient and precise.
*Able to interact and build effective, trusted relationships through all levels of the organization.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy; able to influence teams across the organization.
*Prompt responsiveness to both internal and external stakeholders is imperative.
*Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
*Committed to the highest levels of integrity, ethics and professionalism.
