With approximately $425 million in assets, Garden Savings Federal Credit Union, located in Parsippany, New Jersey, is currently recruiting for a Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will lead the charge in improving processes, streamlining procedures, and implementing technology to enhance the overall operations of the accounting and finance department. Additionally, this individual will manage general accounting, and will be involved in forecasting, budgeting, asset liability management, and managing the investment portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate extraordinary Excel skills and the desire to grow and develop into a Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will have five plus years of senior experience working in accounting and finance for a financial institution, have highly effective communication skills enabling them to communicate at all levels of the organization, and a Bachelor’s degree.
