Exceeding $50 million in assets and located in Corpus Christi, Texas, STAR Financial Credit Union is currently seeking a credit union professional to assume the role as their President/CEO. Working with the board of directors, this individual will be responsible for fostering a culture deeply rooted in strong communication, coaching, and mentoring. The board is seeking an individual with exemplary leadership qualities to develop a cohesive staff, create stability within the credit union, and establish a strong brand within the community. The ideal candidate will possess a holistic understanding of credit union operations to include retail banking, accounting, and lending. The successful candidate will have five plus years of leadership experience within the credit union industry, have proven people management skills, highly effective written and verbal communication skills, and bring a strategic vision to the organization. STAR Financial Credit Union began in 1959 to provide the employees of Pontiac Refinery, which later became CITGO Refinery, with quality financial services.
