The largest credit union league in the nation, Cornerstone League, supporting credit unions in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, is currently searching for a legislative professional to join their team in Jefferson City, Missouri. As the Executive Director for the Missouri Credit Union Association, and reporting to the EVP, Chief Advocacy Officer, you will be responsible for representing credit unions in the state of Missouri at the state and national level. Responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing legislative bills, building and maintaining relationships with lawmakers, planning and implementing regulatory strategies, and directing the efforts of the Political Action Committee (PAC). Additionally, you will oversee and manage the Credit Union House which houses staff operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in advocating and lobbying for constituents, have highly effective relationship building skills, possess a strong reputation within their respected industry, and have an executive presence coupled with outstanding communication skills.
