With approximately $1.3 billion in assets and located in the Houston Metropolitan area, Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a senior finance and accounting executive to replace their retiring Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will be responsible for ALM, general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This individual will also oversee a robust and complex investment portfolio. Additionally, the credit union will look to this individual to bring a strategic vision to their fiscal operations, improve processes through the use of technology, and strengthen procedures within the department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with investments and asset liability management, be proactive in their style of communication, and have strong analytical skills. Five plus years of senior management experience leading finance and accounting operations within a retail banking institution is required. Please include reference number 1496 when applying.
