With approximately $650 million in assets, Heartland Credit Union, located in Hutchinson, Kansas, is currently recruiting for an accounting professional to serve as their Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will assume the leading role over the accounting operations of the credit union. Primary responsibilities will be managing general accounting functions through a team of five, developing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and forecasting financial performance. Additionally, you will be charged with evaluating documentation processes and making improvements to operational procedures within the department. The successful candidate will have five plus years of experience leading accounting operations and have a fundamental understanding in divisional accounting.
