Credit Union of the Rockies is seeking a new team-member to join our credit union in our Retail Lending Department!

As a Loan Officer (Financial Life Coach), you will drive the lending solutions with our membership from start to finish.

Our Financial Life Coaches hold interviews with the membership, work directly with Underwriters at our corporate location, communicate lending decisions with the membership and close the loans - you are the entire relationship experience!

We want our members to have one point-of-contact throughout the entire lending process and it put's you in the driver's seat to showcase your sales abilities with a competitive base-pay and a lucrative commission.

Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering an exceptional branded member experience that is unlike any other financial institution.

The process starts with you and we give you the tools to develop your own book of business!

Every day is an opportunity for you to turn another credit union visitor into a loyal credit union member.

You would also be responsible for managing the impressions of Credit Union of the Rockies members while providing friendly and professional member service, minimizing wait time, accurately processing financial transactions and being an effective source of information for our members. You will directly address the needs of Credit Union of the Rockies members and work with team members to ensure a genuine and exceptional member experience.

A typical day may include conversations with members in our mountain communities, working directly with your supervisor on developing your pipeline, receiving coaching and mentorship from our Management Team (Operations Manager, Lending Manager, Projects and Training Manager and Finance and Accounting Manager) while having direct access to our lending-focused Vice President of Finance and Accounting and C.E.O.

DUTIES:

As a financial life coach, you're highly skilled at uncovering members' needs, then following through with effective solutions. Not only are you one of the first people members meet when they enter the branch, but you're also the person who guides them - advising, selling, and even setting up their new products.

Always curious, you stay on top of news about financial products and initiatives while be focused and ready to apply your learning in member interactions.

Your success is measured by team and individual productivity as well as overall branch performance.

The right candidate will be able to work within a customer-focused/deadline-driven/high-energy environment who can provide courteous, friendly and professional assistance to their team and our membership. The candidate we choose will know how to effectively manage their time to achieve optimum results, drive urgency with members, and know how to comprehensively package our products and services to the member.

Responsibilities include: (1) Processing loans within organizational guidelines and limits, interviewing applicant and requesting information for lending solutions and resolving questions regarding application information; (2) Responsible for selling credit insurance, GAP, and Warranty products offered by Credit Union; (3) Responsible for meeting goals for number of loans and dollar amount of loans as set by the Credit Union.
