A Day in the Life as an Electronic Payments Representative:
Process ACH and check exceptions that are received electronically.
What you will do:
Transaction Processing: Receiving, verifying, and posting incoming and outgoing electronic ACH/check exception payments across various platforms.
Data Entry: Complete daily processing procedures of ACH/check exceptions, including batch and balancing responsibilities.
Reporting and reconciliation: Generating reports on payments and transactions to ensure accuracy.
What we are looking for:
-High School education or equivalent.
-Knowledge of general accounting principles required.
-One year to three years of similar or related experience preferred. Experience with online data processing system preferred. Previous credit union or financial experience preferred. Related experience can include previous experience in banking such as Teller, Phone Service Representative or accounting roles such as Accounting Clerk, Payment Processor, Billing Specialist, Accounts payable/receivable Specialist.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 8 AM- 5PM
Salary Range:
$21.10- $23.44 per hour
