Bulldog Federal Credit Union, with $225 million in assets, located in Hagerstown, Maryland, is currently in search of a senior financial services executive to replace their long-time retiring President/CEO. Working in unison with the board of directors, the incoming executive will be responsible for strategically leading the six-branch operation with approximately 60 employees. Promoting membership growth, expanding the credit union’s social media presence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reenforcing a stable organizational culture will all fall under the oversight of the President/CEO. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the financial operations of a credit union, have proven leadership skills, and bring a strategic vision to the credit union. Bulldog Federal Credit Union was organized on July 16, 1968, by a group of Mack Truck Union Local 171 employees to provide their coworkers with an economical alternative to local finance companies that charged high interest rates and imposed stiff penalties for late payments. Today, Bulldog FCU boasts six full-service offices, seven proprietary ATMs, a host of today’s most in-demand electronic services, and more than 21,400 members. Membership at the credit union is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Washington County, Maryland.
