First Financial Federal Credit Union, with over $185 million in assets, located in Freehold, New Jersey is currently recruiting for a financial professional to assume the role of Assistant Vice President of Accounting/Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the AVP of Accounting/Controller will assist with investment accounting, oversight of the general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, asset liability management, and ACH functions. The credit union is seeking someone that is highly proficient in Excel and GAAP. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coach and mentor staff, have a hands-on approach to leading the department, and will be a self-starter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to grow and develop within a financial institution. Extensive accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 base salary, plus medical and retirement benefits.
